Sreshta Rit Premnath (1979, Bangalore) is an artist based in New York.
He completed his MFA at Bard College in 2006, and attended the Whitney Independent Study Program in 2008. In 2011 he received the Art Matters Foundation Grant.
Premnath has had solo exhibitions at venues including The Contemporary Art Museum, St. Louis; Galerie Nordenhake, Berlin; Gallery SKE, Bangalore; Art Statements, Art|41|Basel; and Tony Wight Gallery, Chicago. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions internationally.
Premnath teaches in the MFA program at Parsons College and was the 2012 Arthur Levitt Fellow at Williams College.
